Opening Reception @ Hoyle Building - Institute of Astronomy

All participants of the IoA50 Conference are invited to the opening reception! Join us for an evening of networking, refreshments, and celebration as we kick off this landmark event. 


 

Institute of Astronomy Library Tour @ Observatory - Institute of Astronomy

Wednesday, 24th July 14:00 - 15:00 & 15:30 - 16:30

Enjoy a pleasant stroll around the Institute, taking in the 19th-century telescopes and two-hundred-year-old Observatory. Your guide will be Mark Hurn, who has looked after the Institute library for over twenty years and takes a strong interest in the people, famous and not so famous, who once worked and lived here.
