
Programme Structure & Research Topics
Over the period of 8 weeks, successful interns will gain experience in undertaking research in an academic environment and potentially motivate them to consider further studies at the Institute. The interns will be supervised by a University Faculty member, research fellow, or postdoctoral researcher. The Programme will include a series of seminars along with regular meet-up sessions in which the Interns will be invited to present their research.
Each IoA Summer intern will be provided with a desk, a desktop computer and applicable IT access credentials for the duration of the 8-week internship.

Example Projects 2026 will be available in February 2026. When they're listed, if your area of interest is not currently represented in the list of example projects, then it would be advisable to write a more general statement of interest.
