Institute of Astronomy

I am a PhD student under Prof. Richard McMahon.  I am interested in finding and studying high-redshift (z>4.5) quasars, which are probes of the formation and growth of supermassive black holes and provide windows into the changing ionisation state of the early universe. My current work is on improving photometric redshifts for high-z quasars and developing more efficient selection methods in preparation for LSST.

I am a Gates-Cambridge scholar and a member of Clare Hall.
