My name is Calvin and I am a second year PhD student at the Insitute of Astronomy, Cambridge. I am supervised by Professors Alexandra Amon and George Efstathiou. My research is based in cosmology, focussing on weak gravitational lensing. So far in my PhD, I've worked on ways we can use weak lensing to directly and indirectly constrain the matter power spectrum.
I am currently working on ways we can disentangle baryonic feedback from axionic physics in advance of first-light at Chile's Vera Rubin Observatory. This work is being done in collaboration with Keir Rogers. Check out some of my papers below, and find out more about me on my website: https://calvinprestonastro.github.io
