I am an observational astronomer in the field of Galactic Archaeology. I work on the formation and evolution of the ancient Milky Way ad the properties of old stellar populations, using observations of old, metal-poor stars (typically spectroscopy).

 

Biography

  • Since Oct. 2022: Herchel Smith Fellow at the Institute of Astronomy, Cambridge, UK and non-stipendiary Research Fellow at Fitzwilliam College Cambridge
  • 2020 - 2022: Postdoc at the Observatoire Astronomique de Strasbourg, France
  • 2016 - 2020: PhD at the Leibniz Institute for Astrophysics Potsdam, Germany
  • 2011 - 2016: Bachelor and Master at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands
