Venue

The conference will be held at the Institute of Astronomy (IoA), in the Hoyle Lecture Theatre (labelled "Lecture Theatre" in the map below).

Access is through the Institute of Astronomy main entrance, from Madingley Rise, labelled as [E] on the map.

 

 

Accessibility

  • The Hoyle Building is fully accessible to wheelchair users but does not have automatic doors.
  • A hearing loop is available.

Bike hire

By far the easiest way to travel around Cambridge is by bicycle. There are numerous cycle rentals in the city including City Cycle Hire.

Prices are around £10 per day or £25 per week, plus a deposit of £40-60.

Taxis

The Institute of Astronomy is a 15-20 minute taxi journey from the railway station and costs around £8-9 with Panther Taxis Ltd (01223 715715).
