Talk Summary

2015 has been the year of the dwarf planets, with missions reaching both Ceres and Pluto. Both of these fly-by missions have provided (and continue to provide) a wealth of information about the composition, formation and fate of these planets. I will discuss what we have learned from these missions and how these discoveries have impacted our understanding of how our solar system as well as other planets and planetary systems form.
