Talk Summary

New solar satellites and space-based telescopes have greatly improved our understanding of how stars are born, progress into "middle-aged" stars like our Sun, and transform into white dwarfs, neutron stars or even black holes over their lifetimes.  I will discuss recent scientific advances in our understanding of the various life stages of stars.
