Talk Summary

The Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) is the relic radiation left over from the big bang. Modern telescopes now have the resolution to use this radiation to create a picture of the birth of the universe. In this talk, I will aim to cover what the CMB is, and our methods for detecting it; past, present and future.
