Institute of Astronomy

I am first-year PhD student at IoA and KICC working with Prof. Vasily Belokurov and Prof. Roberto Maiolino. My research probes around observational astrophysics, galaxy evolution, and supermassive black holes (SMBHs), with a particular focus on emission-line spectroscopy and the chemical enrichment of high-redshift galaxies and AGN observed with instruments such as JWST. I am especially interested in nebular diagnostics and abundance analyses involving high-energy emission lines, as well as the study of nitrogen-enhanced systems in the early universe and their potential connection to globular cluster populations observed in the local universe.

Outside of astronomy, I play professional badminton and am a part of the university badminton club. I am a part Blues Cambridge and represent the university in both regional and national tournaments across the UK. Other than sports, I love music, painting and travelling:)
