Research

I am interested in a wide range of topics in cosmology, with a particular focus on how observations of the cosmic microwave background (CMB) can be used to test the cosmological model. Along with my supervisor, Anthony Challinor, I am currently exploring ways of removing the effect of gravitational lensing due to large-scale structure from the observed B-mode polarization of the CMB. This is a crucial step in the search for the very weak primordial B-mode signal induced by gravitational waves from the early universe.

I am a member of the analysis team of the Simons Observatory.
