Research

I'm looking at white dwarfs whose atmospheres have been polluted by rocky bodies. The relative abundances of detected elements tell us about the histories of these bodies. I'm investigating what we can learn about their formation conditions, in particular their size.

2019 - Present: PhD student in Astronomy, University of Cambridge

2015 - 2019: Programmer at Maxeler Technologies Ltd. I worked on a variety of projects, from pricing steel to ocean modelling. Used Python, C++ and a proprietary Java variant.
