The observing book of Victorian amateur astronomer the Revd. Henry Cooper Key (1819-1879) is now available online, as a series of photographs made by Mr Paul Haley.
Key was the vicar of Stretton Sugwas, a small village in Herefordshire, but he took a keen interest in both telescope making and astronomical observing. The notes start off in London in 1837, then move to Herefordshire, finishing in 1873. There are a number of nice drawings, both astronomical and non-astronomical in the notebook.
