Newton library catalogue now available

The upgrade of the Library Voyager software was completed yesterday (10 July) and the Newton online library catalogue is now back available.

Open Observatory & Library Friday 7th September

The IoA Library will be open to the public for this years Open Cambridge event. The historic telescopes and observatory building will be open to the public, also a library historical display. For more details click here.

We are very sad to hear of the death of Peter Hingley, Librarian of the Royal Astronomical Society (RAS). His death was announced today by the RAS.

SPIE Digital Library including SPIE Proceedings

We now have full access to the SPIE Digital Library, which contains thousands of technical papers on optical technology, including astronomical telescopes and other instruments.
