I am a 4th year PhD student at the Institute of Astronomy at the University of Cambridge. I work with Scott Chapman studying some of the most exciting systems in the distant Universe: Sub-Millimeter Galaxies (SMGs). SMGs are dusty galaxies with extremely high star formation rates found to be most common 10 billion years after the Big Bang. I look at the morpholgies and dynamics of the gas in these systems to determine what triggers this intense star formation. Check out my Research page for more information!
