is an incomplete list of changes made, often in response to bugs
discovered
and reported. I don't seem to get many reports of bugs, and I'm not
sure
if this is a good thing (and that there aren't many) or bad (nobody
uses
the program, or, if they do, nobody notices them). In any case, this
list
is likely to be wildly out of date, and it carries the usual health
warning,
especially that there will be more....
DONE:
2006/2007:
VPFIT9.3 - double precision variables and data, improved Voigt routine,
internal sub-pixellation of undersampled lines and instrument profile,
improved convergence to minimum chi-squared, more significant figures
in printout when appropriate, ...
2003 sometime: All wavelengths and internal variables where precision matters are now in double precision. Data arrays and plotted variables remain single precision.
