The VEILS Principal Investigators (PIs) are Manda Banerji (IoA, Cambridge) and Seb Hoenig (Southampton ). Manda's research interests are in the study of high-redshift galaxies and quasars using the deep co-added data that the VEILS multi-epoch observations will produce. Seb leads the transient side of the survey and is particularly interested in using AGN dust lags as standard candles to constrain cosmological parameters.

The VEILS project includes a large number of co-investigators whose names can be found in the survey proposal. In particular, our team includes key members of several other ongoing and upcoming multi-wavelength surveys in the VEILS fields including the optical Dark Energy Survey and the mid infrared Spitzer DeepDrill Survey (PI:M.Lacy). More information on complementary surveys can be found here.

The VEILS data is calibrated and processed by the Cambridge Astronomical Survey Unit (CASU) while the transient light-curve production is led by the Astronomy Group at the University of Southampton.
