Here is the original song I wrote in Reason and Cubase: Dreams Get Stuck (featuring Calendar Girl) by chriscrowe

There is a program available for stretching the audio by a huge amount. It is suitable only for extreme sound stretching of the audio (eg 50x) and for applying special effects by "spectral smoothing" the sounds. It can transform any sound/music to a texture. Here is part of this track stratched a huge amount (the part of the track is 0:45-1:03, and the length of track is about 15 minutes.

I think it's pretty cool, and sounds like something out of a Final Fantasy game! It's really good to work to, and reminds me of the "Dream" zone at the milennium Dome, where they had a music piece that would theoretically last over 1000 years. Shame the Dome was closed ater 3! I suspect that the artist would have used similar software to the one I've used here.
