The IoA Publications database has been updated with details of papers published January-June 2012.  To access the database click here.  This database is regularly updated every six months.

Newton library catalogue not available today Thursday 12 July

Unfortunately there were a few bugs in the upgrade so Newton won't be available for most of today.  Sorry for any inconvenience, but maybe an opportunity to get to know your local librarian?

Newton library catalogue now available

The upgrade of the Library Voyager software was completed yesterday (10 July) and the Newton online library catalogue is now back available.

Open Observatory & Library Friday 7th September

The IoA Library will be open to the public for this years Open Cambridge event.  The historic telescopes and observatory building will be open to the public, also a library historical display.  For more details click here.

Peter Hingley (1951-2012) Librarian of the Royal Astronomical Society

We are very sad to hear of the death of Peter Hingley, Librarian of the Royal Astronomical Society (RAS).  His death was announced today by the RAS.

SPIE Digital Library including SPIE Proceedings

Our trial access to the SPIE Digital Library including SPIE Proceedings has been extended to the end of June.
