vircam_getstds

Purpose:

Test recipe to drive the vircam_getstds library function.

Description:

Test the library function vircam_getstds by examining the WCS of an input image. Extract all the stars from the 2MASS point source catalogue that should appear on the input image.

Parameters:

• ext (int): The image extension of the input files to be done on this run. If all of the extensions are to be processed, then this should be set to zero.

Input File Types:

The following list gives the file types that can appear in the SOF file. The word in bold is the DO category value.

• SCIENCE_IMAGE (required): An input image.
• MASTER_2MASS_CATALOGUE (required): The index table for the 2mass catalogue

Output File Types:

The following lists the output data frames that are generated by this recipe. The word in bold gives the PRO CATG keyword value for each.

• STANDARDS_TABLE: A FITS table with standard objects

Fatal Error Conditions:

• Missing input image
• Unable to locate the 2MASS catalogue

Non-Fatal Error Conditions:

None.
