The detection of planets in discs through IR interferometry
Detection of planets with interferometry is somehow
challenging because of the contrast between the planet and the host
star but also with the surrounding disk. In this presentation, I will
review quickly the capacity of optical interferometry for planet
detection nowadays and in the near future, focusing on near infrared
interferometry and in particular on AMBER/VLTI. I will also present
the prospects of detection of planet gaps in discs with interferometry
in space in particular with DARWIN.
